BiographyNatalia has been an advocate for treatment and recovery in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for over five years. Natalia earned her Bachelor in Arts degree in English and the University of Rhode Island and attended Providence College for a teaching certificate. She began her career teaching secondary education for the adolescent residents of the Phoenix House Academy at Wallum Lake in Pascoag, RI. Natalia comes to Northeast Addictions Treatment Center with the experience needed for working in the fast paced, high energy environment of the substance abuse field. Natalia works closely and assists the medical director with updating third party insurance providers for short and long-term disability and filing for FMLA. Natalia assists patients with resume building, applying for job placement programs, as well as other state funded assistance programs. A few of her other duties include scheduling medical appointments, and tracking patients who are on medication assisted treatment, and providing support to the clinical team. Natalia is experienced in planning safe and appropriate aftercare plans. Natalia is currently working towards earning a Master’s in Social Work.
