Vyvanse is available in different shapes and colors, so what it looks like depends on the formulation and dosage.
Vyvanse is the brand name for lisdexamfetamine dimesylate and is considered an amphetamine-based central nervous system stimulant medication.
It’s used to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or binge eating disorder and is often compared to Adderall/Adderall XR as they have the same active ingredient.
Vyvanse works to treat ADHD by increasing the levels of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain. That increase leads to a decrease in ADHD symptoms like impulsivity and hyperactivity.
Vyvanse is also considered a schedule II controlled substance by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This means it has a high potential for abuse that can lead to physical dependence.
But whether you’re buying it from a drug dealer or having it prescribed to you by a healthcare provider, it’s important to know that the Vyvanse you’re taking is legitimate. To do that, you need to know what it looks like.
