Destini graduated from Lesley University with a Bachelor of Science in Expressive Arts Therapy and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy. Destini has worked at Medicine Wheel in South Boston with Cushing House’s young men and women in recovery. Destini has also used the arts to help people with persistent mental illness at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. Since Destini began working at Northeast Addictions Treatment Center in 2016, she has worked as group facilitator, clinical coordinator, and primary therapist. Destini invites individuals to explore creativity, recreation, and spirituality in sobriety.
